Wiseman’s View is a “port-style” wine whose name refers to two different things: The local overlook “Wiseman’s View” that is featured on the label, and our owner Jack’s personal “view” of the things that he has seen and experienced throughout his life. This wine is made using a continual aging method called “solera.” This method is popular in Portugal and Spain, where younger wines are slowly added into consecutively older ones. Because of this aging method, this wine will be a limited bottling each year. Wiseman’s View is a rich, full-bodied wine with decadent notes of caramel, raisin, chocolate, and hazelnut.
