The David Wiseman Band is rooted in traditional American roots music, blending classic bluegrass and mountain music with touches of country and beloved old-time favorites. Known for their rich Appalachian sound, the band showcases the instruments and styles that define Southern mountain traditions—mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and tight harmony vocals.

Led by well-versed bluegrass musician and instrumentalist David Wiseman, the group brings authenticity and heart to every performance. Having played in traditional music settings throughout western North Carolina, they carry forward the musical heritage of the Southern Appalachian region with energy, skill, and respect for the tradition.
